Is it free?
Yes. Core calculators and project features are free. There is no account fee, subscription or premium character limit. Public pages may display advertisements.
Do I need an account?
No. The site does not operate author accounts or a project login system.
Where is my project stored?
On your side, in a file or browser location you control. You can save a visible project file on your computer, in OneDrive, on an external drive or in another folder.
Who owns my data?
You do. The site does not claim ownership of your characters, story ideas, notes or project file.
Can WRS see or recover my project?
The application is designed not to intentionally upload project contents to WRS. WRS does not maintain a project copy, backup or recovery service.
Can I use Year 1 instead of a real year?
Yes. Story Year mode is a core feature.
Can a series contain books and chapters?
Yes. Chapters can be numbered, named, both, or temporarily use a Chapter # placeholder.
Can it track mothers, fathers and pregnancies?
Yes. It supports confirmed, possible, disputed or unknown parentage, overlapping pregnancies and multiple children from one pregnancy.
Does it provide technical support?
No individual project troubleshooting, file repair or data recovery is provided. The site includes self-service guides.
Are pregnancy calculations medical advice?
No. They are broad fiction-planning estimates only.
