Your file, your responsibility
Project storage and backups
Your project is stored under your control, not in a Fiction Continuity Tools or WRS project database.
Stored by you. Owned by you. Not copied or backed up by us.
Primary project file
For serious work, save a visible .fictionproject file in a folder you control. A OneDrive-synchronized folder can provide synchronization through your own Microsoft account.
Browser recovery
The workspace may keep an optional local recovery copy in the browser to protect against accidental tab closure. That recovery copy is not a WRS backup and may disappear if browser storage is cleared.
Your backup responsibility
Maintain more than one copy, use dated backups and test that a project file can be reopened. WRS cannot recover a file it never possessed.
Do not send project files for support
Individual file repair and data recovery are not provided. Do not attach private project files to legal or site-contact messages.
