Tracking Character Ages Across a Book Series
Enter each character once, attach dated events and let an age grid update the whole series.

Start with an anchor
A birth date is ideal, but an author can begin with “age 31 when Book 1 opens.” The system can infer an approximate birth position and become more exact later.
Use event boundaries
Book openings, weddings, births, time jumps and final chapters make useful columns in an age grid.
Preserve uncertainty
If only a Story Year is known, show an age range rather than a false exact age.
